Picture in Picture for IPTV on a Mac

Start any channel or movie in IPTVMac and click the Picture in Picture button in the player. The video moves to a small floating window that stays on top of other apps and across Spaces.

Turn it on

  1. Play a channel, movie or episode in IPTVMac.
  2. Click the Picture in Picture button in the player controls.
  3. The video moves to a floating window in the corner of your screen. The IPTVMac window goes back to the lists, so you can pick something else.

What the floating window does

  • It stays on top of other apps and on every Space, including over full screen apps.
  • Hover over it for pause, close and a button that returns the video to the main window.
  • You can drag it anywhere and resize it.

Also useful

Choosing a tab, a category or the search field while a video is playing full screen sends the video to the floating window automatically. The IPTVMac window opens full screen by default when you start a video; you can change that in Settings.

Note

This is IPTVMac's own floating window, not the system Picture in Picture of Safari or QuickTime. It works with every source IPTVMac can play.
